Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media

Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media are media ampoules for microbiological testing of pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, water and other liquids. The media ampoules are ready to use and each box contains 50 ampoules with 2.5 ml of sterile nutrient medium. Nutrient media comply with international regulations and recommendations to replace the handling of glass ampoules.

Sartorius Nutrient Pad sets have been used successfully in the membrane filtration method for over 30 years. Nutrient Pad kits are practical and easy to handle and simplify many microbiological testing procedures. Microorganisms need the appropriate culture medium for optimal growth. Nutrient medium sets are sterile and dehydrated. After moistening with 3.0-3.5 ml of sterile and demineralized (or pure) water, they are immediately ready for use.

Biosart® 100 Monitors are specifically designed for microbiological testing of drugs, food, beverages, water and other liquids. These sterile funnels with built-in membrane filter and cellulose plate are ready for use. Biosart® 100 nutrient medium is available in individually sterilized, suitable plastic ampoules. Each box of Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media contains 50 ampoules of sterile media, each containing 2.5 ml. If stored in the correct conditions (4 ° C), culture media have a shelf life of 12 months (except Endo, KF Strep, Lauryl Sulfate and Tergitol which have a shelf life of 9 months).

Biosart® 100 nutrient media comply with international regulations and recommendations: International Pharmacopoeias, DIN and ISO standards, American water and food standards, mineral water regulations, food and beverage industry guidelines. As part of the quality assurance process and strict quality standards, each batch passed Sartorius ’own tests to promote growth and sterility. The tests also include physical and technical parameters. Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media is convenient to use and eliminates the need to handle glass ampoules.
