The main area of ​​application for Biosart® 250 funnels is the microbiological analysis of a relatively large number of samples with a small number of microbes, with membrane filtration being an essential step. Biosart® 250 funnels are also suitable for testing smaller quantities, placing the sample in a few ml of sterile NaCl saline. The Biosart® 250 funnel line is specially designed for microbiological testing of drugs, food, beverages, water and other liquids.

The funnels are sterile, ready to use and designed to be placed on vacuum manifold bases. The funnel is made of polypropylene and is elastic enough for optimal sealing, with a bayonet cap. The funnels have 50, 100, 150 and 200 ml markings for easy measurement of accurate sample quantities. The large inner diameter ensures a high flow rate. The conical shape allows thorough rinsing of the system after filtration. No liquid is retained in the filter funnel. The Biosart® 250 funnel line enables a fast and routine filtration process.
