Reusable Filter Holders

Individual and stand-alone filter holders are mounted on vacuum vessels or on Manifold filtration systems, depending on your requirements. They are available in stainless steel, glass or polycarbonate.

STAINLESS STEEL FILTER HOLDERS

Stainless steel holders differ in hopper capacity (40 ml, 100 ml or 500 ml) and valve type (part numbers ending in CS equipped with sterile venting). They are specially designed for applications in which particles or microorganisms need to remain on the surface of membrane filters. The stainless steel frit ensures a uniform distribution of retained particles over the entire surface of the membrane filter. Special features make it easy to use these filter holders during routine testing. Easy to handle with a single clamp for secure attachment or convenient funnel removal.

GLASS FILTER HOLDERS

These filter holders are available with a 30 ml funnel (filter diameter 25 mm) for filtering small quantities or with a 250 ml funnel (filter diameter 47 | 50 mm) for filtering large quantities. They can be sterilized by autoclaving (max. 134 ° C) or dry heat (max. 180 ° C). The glass frit ensures an even distribution of retained particles.

POLYCARBONATE FILTER HOLDERS

Type 16510 together with the flask can be used with vacuum or low pressure (0.5 bar | 7.3 psi recommended for maximum permeability). Type 16511 is the same as 16510, but without the flask. It is designed for use in a suction flask or vacuum filtration system (eg Combisart® systems). Both types can be sterilized by autoclaving (max. 121° C).

GLASS FUNNEL FOR VACUUM FILTRATION 24/25 MM

This vacuum filtration glass funnel is designed for particle testing, clarification and sterile filtration using a 24 or 25 mm filter. The device is supplied with a glass frit as a support for the filter, which ensures an even distribution of retained particles.

GLASS FUNNEL FOR VACUUM FILTRATION 47/50 MM

Glass vacuum system for membrane filtration, suitable for membrane filters with a diameter of 47 or 50 mm. A 6 mm glass rim, located above the ground glass neck of the filter flask, prevents filtrate contamination. The filter holders consist of glass frit in a PTFE ring. All other parts of the holder that come into contact with the filter medium are made of glass parts.

The glass funnel and stand are firmly attached with a metal clamp. The centering edge on the filter holder facilitates the placement of the funnel and prevents the insertion/infusion membrane filters from moving. The device is ideal for analytical determination and removal of particles from
